Announcement re: COVID-19
The Latino Community Association is taking steps to assure our clients, staff and supporters that we are doing our part to minimize the spread of the coronavirus while also being available to assist families in need of our services.
As of today, March 20th, our offices will remain open to the public during our usual hours.
However, we ask our clients and volunteers to ONLY visit our offices if we are unable to assist you by phone or digital means, such as Facebook messenger or email. Some of our staff will be working from home between now and April 5th, but you should be able to reach any of us by phone or email during business hours.
We will be cancelling all in-person meetings, trainings and group classes (English and citizenship) until further notice.
We ask that anyone experiencing COVID-19 like symptoms [fever, cough and difficulty breathing] follow the advice of medical experts. Do not hesitate to go to a medical clinic for economic reasons. Take good care of yourselves and your loved ones. Stay calm and stay healthy. We will overcome this challenge together.
