Latino Fest 2020
Live Mariachi music and folkloric dancing at the third annual Latino Fest and the Latino Community Association (LCA) invites the entire community to be a part of this special celebration. Latino Fest celebrates the Latin American cultures where residents of Madras and surrounding areas have their roots.
The free event will happen from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, ONLINE.
The festival includes educational cultural booths, a community resource fair with kids’ activities, delicious food, business vendors and live local entertainment. Last year included: La Luna Folkloric Dancers, El Toro y su Alegría Norteña band, the gymnastics group Unique Performing Arts, DJ Sonido Sangre Azteca, and Mariachi Los Temerosos de Juan Antonio from Hood River.
Visitors can stroll through the park to watch performances, taste ethnic foods, find out about programs and services in their community, and enjoy kid’s games, breaking piñatas, and bouncing around in a jump castle.
