Internship Specific Considerations

• Housing is the responsibility of the intern
• $18 an hour. Position is limited ending June 30, 2025
• Time Commitment: 100-150 hours
• Flexible work schedule
• Must be able to work in Deschutes County
• Tentative start date: April 1, 2025
• Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a current college student or recent graduate with an interest in Public Health or
  related field in community health sciences
• Must be able to drive throughout Deschutes County and have a valid Oregon State driver’s
  license
• Must be able to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Demonstrated ability to maintain professional behavior and appearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of data collection, management, and analysis
• General interest in substance misuse prevention
